I’ve spent years photographing political events on Capitol Hill, from meetings and candid conversations to group portraits, press events, and speakers at the podium. My familiarity with the House and Senate buildings—and the decorum that comes with working in them—allows me to move efficiently and unobtrusively, often becoming a “fly on the wall” while important conversations unfold.

I know when to step in, when to disappear, and how to create polished, vivid photographs without becoming part of the moment.

From individual meetings with members and staff to organization-wide advocacy days spanning multiple buildings, I document both the planned photographs and the candid interactions that happen around them. I work efficiently through changing schedules, restricted spaces, and short windows of access while giving your organization a polished record of the people and conversations that moved your work forward.

Events and Receptions

Briefings, receptions, panel discussions, press events, and gatherings on the Hill all require coverage that captures more than the person at the podium. I photograph the speakers, audience, environment, important interactions, and organizational details without disrupting the event or becoming part of it.

Portraits and Group Photos

Whether you need a formal group photograph, a portrait inside a congressional office, or a quick photograph on the Capitol grounds, I provide clear direction and work within the time available. The result is polished, natural imagery that represents your members, leadership, staff, or visiting delegation without turning a busy Hill schedule into a prolonged photoshoot.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?

Through a private, beautifully presented online gallery. You can download everything directly, create favorites lists, and easily share the gallery with your team, organization, press contacts, or anyone else who needs access. If you’d like to see a sample gallery before booking, just ask—I’m happy to share one!

How soon will we receive the photos?

My standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the end of your event, but I frequently deliver much sooner—including same-day selects and expedited full galleries for many of my clients. If you have a specific deadline, I’m happy to work with it. I’d much rather underpromise and overdeliver than leave you waiting for your photographs.

Do you travel for events?

Absolutely. I regularly travel throughout the United States for assignments. If your organization has events in multiple cities, I can provide the same photography and delivery experience wherever you need me.

How does pricing work?

I price each event based on the time, complexity, and specific requirements involved. When you reach out, share as much as you can about your event, including the date, location, duration, number of attendees, and what you’re hoping to capture. If you have a budget in mind, I encourage you to share that as well. I approach budgets honestly; knowing yours helps me find a structure that works for both of us, rather than simply determining how much to charge.

Yes. I’ve photographed meetings, events, portraits, speakers, and other assignments throughout the House and Senate office buildings, so I’m familiar with the security, access, and working protocols involved.
