I have extensive experience photographing political events with an emphasis on Capitol Hill photography in Washington D.C. My work focuses on speakers, meetings, group photos, and candids. My familiarity with the House and Senate buildings and decorum allow for a more effective coverage of the various events and meetings that you want photographed. I try to be a “fly on the wall” and capture beautiful images without interrupting the conversations, while still creating beautiful and vivid images for my clients.
I got into this work because I believe every person deserves to look extraordinary — not just the keynote speaker, not just the VIPs, everyone.
I've spent a decade building the technical mastery to deliver beautiful lighting, precise timing, and the ability to make any location look like it was built for a photo shoot. I've shot NASA facilities built in the 1950s with brutal overhead lighting and have photographed everything from small intimate receptions to ground-shaking rocket launches. When a moment matters, I'm the one holding the camera.
