I’ve spent years photographing political events on Capitol Hill, from meetings and candid conversations to group portraits, press events, and speakers at the podium. My familiarity with the House and Senate buildings—and the decorum that comes with working in them—allows me to move efficiently and unobtrusively, often becoming a “fly on the wall” while important conversations unfold.
I know when to step in, when to disappear, and how to create polished, vivid photographs without becoming part of the moment.
From individual meetings with members and staff to organization-wide advocacy days spanning multiple buildings, I document both the planned photographs and the candid interactions that happen around them.
