The Day as It Felt

Present. Vivid. Timeless.

The Wedding Ends. The Photos Tell the Story Forever.

I’ve spent nearly a decade photographing weddings, from large celebrations to intimate elopements. That experience has taught me how quickly a wedding day moves—and how much of it happens outside the moments everyone expects to photograph.

My approach combines candid coverage with intentional portraiture, photographed in vivid, true-to-life color. I’ll step in when direction helps, move quickly when the schedule demands it, and disappear into the background when the moment is better left alone.

The goal is simple: a gallery that feels complete, looks timeless, and lets you remember the day as you actually experienced it.

How I Photograph a Wedding

Not just the couple. Not just the wedding party. I pay attention to everyone I photograph and look for flattering angles, good light, and natural expressions throughout the day. I’m thoughtful about the images I deliver because I know no one wants an unflattering photograph of themselves shared afterward, so I extend that same consideration to every person in the room.

A wedding schedule rarely survives the day exactly as written. Hair runs late, transportation takes longer than expected, family members disappear when portraits are supposed to begin. I work efficiently and adapt without adding stress, so photography supports the day rather than becoming another thing you have to manage.
I want you to have beautiful portraits, but I don't believe you should disappear from your own wedding for hours to make them. I work deliberately and efficiently so we can create strong photographs without making the day revolve around a photo session.
If I stay in one spot, you only get one perspective. I'm constantly moving: wide to show the room, close to capture an expression, watching your parents during a speech, and getting into the middle of the dance floor when that's where the story is happening. But knowing where to be also means knowing when to step back. I’ve learned how to disappear into the background so I can tell the complete story of your wedding without making myself a part of it.
When you hire me, I'm the photographer who shows up. I don't build my business by booking events and assigning them to whoever is available. I've built a photography brand centered on my work and the experience of having me there. If I'm not available for your date, I'll tell you rather than quietly substituting another photographer and hoping you don't notice.
Beautiful venues can still have difficult light. I bring the equipment and experience to handle dark ballrooms, mixed lighting, outdoor ceremonies, receptions after sunset, and everything in between without making the photographs feel artificial.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I’ve spent more than a decade working professionally in situations where important moments happen once and then they’re gone. Weddings are one of the places where that experience matters most: plans change, emotions run high, and there are no second takes.

I bring a calm, adaptable approach to the day. I know when direction helps, when a problem needs to be solved quickly, and when the best thing I can do is get out of the way and let a moment happen naturally.

I want you to remember your photographer as someone who made the day easier—not someone who made the day about photography.

You live it. I'll photograph it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes, when the size, schedule, or logistics of the wedding make additional coverage useful. Some weddings benefit from having two photographers in different places at once, while others can be covered completely by me alone. I’ll recommend what makes sense based on your plans rather than automatically adding another photographer.
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard turnaround for weddings is 14 business days. If you'd like photographs sooner, I can also provide immediate selects or discuss expedited delivery. I'd rather give you a realistic deadline and deliver early than leave you wondering when your photographs will arrive.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. I photograph weddings throughout the United States and regularly travel for my clients. If you're planning a destination wedding or getting married outside one of my primary markets, tell me where you're headed.
How does pricing work?
I price weddings based on the amount of coverage, complexity, location, and any additional requirements. When you reach out, share as much as you can about the date, location, schedule, number of guests, and what matters most to you. If you have a budget in mind, I encourage you to share it. I approach budgets honestly; knowing yours helps me find a structure that works for both of us rather than simply determining how much to charge.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! Engagement sessions can be added when you want photographs before the wedding, whether for invitations, a wedding website, or simply because you'd like a strong set of photographs together outside the wedding day itself.
