Austin Event PhotographeR

Big Ideas. Beautifully Documented.

Innovation. Music. Culture.

Professional With a Pulse.

The best event photographs do more than prove people were there. They capture the personality of the room: the conversations, reactions, details, energy, and moments that made this event different from the one before it. Whether I’m photographing a conference, company gathering, gala, launch, or celebration, I want the finished gallery to feel distinctly like the event you created.

I bring more than a decade of experience photographing high-stakes events for organizations like NASA, the World Bank, and National Geographic to every assignment in Austin. The work is polished and intentional, but never sterile. Your event has a personality; the photographs should have one too.

Level up your photography.

Polished Without the Pretense

Good light shouldn’t depend on getting lucky with the venue. I bring a complete lighting setup to every event and adapt it to whatever the room gives me. From beautiful purpose-built spaces to windowless conference rooms, I create the light I need rather than simply accepting what’s there.
The stage is only one part of the event. I’m watching the people listening, conversations happening across the room, details you spent months planning, and moments nobody put on the schedule. A complete gallery should show you things you remember— and things you never got the chance to see.
Good event photography shouldn’t become an event of its own. I work efficiently, give clear direction when it’s needed, and know when to get out of the way. Whether I have two minutes for a group photograph or an entire room to cover before the next session begins, I work quickly without making people feel rushed.
I’ve worked as an associate photographer for other photography businesses, so I know the model: a client books with a company, and an available photographer is assigned to cover the event. It’s a common way to scale a photography business, but it isn’t how I’ve chosen to build mine. When you hire me, you get me. If I’m not available for your date, I’ll tell you rather than quietly send someone else in my place.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I’ve spent more than a decade building a career around photographing people at their best. Along the way, I’ve worked everywhere from congressional offices and hotel ballrooms to NASA facilities, concert venues, weddings, and rocket launches. That range has taught me how to walk into almost any environment, understand what it needs from me, and make something beautiful from it.

I’ve developed the ability to create beautiful light, the intuition to anticipate moments before they happen, and the experience to make the most of whatever environment I’m given. I care about the details, but I don’t take myself too seriously— and I want working with me to feel as easy as the finished photographs look.

I show up to every event like it’s the most important thing I’ll photograph all year— because for my clients, it usually is.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?
Through a private, beautifully presented online gallery. You can download everything directly, create favorites lists, and easily share the gallery with your team, guests, and sponsors. If you’d like to see a sample gallery before booking, just ask— I’m happy to share one!
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the end of your event, but I frequently deliver much sooner— including same-day selects and expedited full galleries for many of my clients. If you have a specific deadline, I’m happy to work with it. I’d much rather underpromise and overdeliver than leave you waiting for your photographs.
Do you travel for events?
Yes! I am based in the Northeast but regularly travel thousands of miles for my clients.
How does pricing work?
I price each event based on the time, complexity, and specific requirements involved. When you reach out, share as much as you can about your event, including the date, location, duration, number of attendees, and what you’re hoping to capture. If you have a budget in mind, I encourage you to share that as well. I approach budgets honestly; knowing yours helps me find a structure that works for both of us, rather than simply determining how much to charge.

Many subjects. One perspective.

Different subjects call for different approaches, but the style, intentionality, and care behind them remain the same.
