Conference Photographer

Conference Photography That Sees the Whole Picture

Complete conference coverage for keynotes, breakout sessions, networking, sponsors, executives, and the moments no schedule can predict.

Previously worked for:

One Conference. Hundreds of Moments That Matter.

Conferences move in several directions at once. A keynote is beginning while sponsors meet attendees, executives prepare backstage, and important conversations unfold throughout the venue.

I learn the program, identify the priorities, and photograph the conference as one connected story. The final gallery shows the scale of the event, the strength of its programming and brand, and the people who made it meaningful.

Multi-Day Conference Coverage

Built for the Way Conferences Actually Work

Rooms change, schedules shift, and communications needs develop while the event is already underway. The photography should remain consistent, responsive, and useful through all of it.

One Standard, Start to Finish

Multi-day conferences move through different rooms, lighting conditions, audiences, and types of programming. I maintain a consistent approach to lighting, color, composition, and editing so the final gallery feels like one complete body of work rather than a collection of disconnected days.

You Shouldn’t Have to Manage the Photographer

Before the conference, I review the agenda, coverage priorities, sponsor requirements, and the people your team needs photographed. Once the program begins, I work independently, stay attentive to changes, and keep the photography moving without adding another task to the planner’s day.

Images While the Conference Is Still Happening

When your communications team needs photographs for press, social media, leadership updates, or the following morning’s presentation, selected images can be edited and delivered during the conference. Same-day delivery is planned around your actual deadlines without compromising the complete gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning Your Conference Photography

The agenda does not need to be final before you reach out. Share what you know, and I can help identify the coverage considerations that matter.

Do you photograph multi-day conferences?

Yes. I photograph conferences lasting one day or several days and maintain a consistent visual approach across changing rooms, lighting conditions, speakers, and programs. Multi-day coverage is planned from the complete agenda so each day contributes to one coherent final gallery.

How do you plan coverage for simultaneous sessions?

I review the agenda with your team and identify the sessions, speakers, sponsors, and moments that matter most. When sessions overlap, we establish priorities and a realistic movement plan in advance. If the required coverage cannot reasonably be completed by one photographer, I will tell you clearly before the event so the appropriate plan can be determined.

When does a conference need more than one photographer?

A second photographer may be appropriate when essential sessions occur simultaneously in separate rooms, when the venue is especially large, or when conference coverage and a headshot studio must operate at the same time. The recommendation depends on the agenda, venue layout, coverage priorities, and required deliverables rather than attendance alone.

Can photographs be delivered during the conference?

Yes. Same-day selects can be edited and delivered around specific communications deadlines. These images are commonly used for press, social media, sponsor recognition, leadership updates, and the following day’s presentations.

Can you photograph sponsors, exhibitors, and activations?

Yes. Sponsor and exhibitor coverage can include signage, installations, staffed booths, product demonstrations, attendee interaction, and wider images showing how each partner appeared within the conference. If sponsors have specific deliverable requirements, those can be incorporated into the coverage plan.

Can you provide headshots during the conference?

Yes. I can bring a complete lighting and backdrop setup to the venue and photograph individuals efficiently while maintaining consistent lighting, framing, and natural editing. The headshot schedule is planned around the conference program and the number of people expected to participate.

Do you travel for conferences?

Absolutely. I am based in Wilmington, Delaware, and regularly travel throughout the United States for assignments. If your organization holds conferences in multiple cities, I can provide the same photography and delivery experience wherever the program takes you.

What information do you need to prepare a proposal?

Send the conference dates, city and venue, approximate coverage hours, expected attendance, number of rooms or simultaneous sessions, and any requirements involving sponsors, headshots, or same-day delivery. A preliminary agenda is helpful, but it does not need to be final.

A Higher Standard of Coverage

I read the room. I watch speakers for their rhythm, crowds for reactions, and people making connections with one another. I’m constantly looking ahead for what is likely to happen next and putting myself in place before the moment happens, rather than reacting after it has already begun. That is what separates a photo that looks like it was taken at your event from one that actually feels like your event.
I bring a professional lighting setup to every shoot and use whatever tools the space calls for to create beautiful, deliberate lighting. Whether I’m working in a gorgeous ballroom or a windowless hotel conference room, your photographs will look polished, vibrant, and intentional. The venue doesn’t set the ceiling on quality; the photographer does.
Not just the keynote speaker. Not just the executive team. I know how to photograph people of all skin tones, ages, and backgrounds. I’m thoughtful about the images I deliver: I know I wouldn’t want an unflattering image of myself shared, so I extend that same consideration to everyone I photograph.
If I stay in one spot, you only get one perspective. I’m constantly moving: wide to show scale, close to capture expressions, and even up into the rafters when I need to show a speaker commanding a full room. But knowing where to be also means knowing when to step back. I’ve learned how to disappear into the background so I can tell the complete story of the event without making myself a part of it.
When you hire me, I’m the photographer who shows up. I don’t run my business by booking events and assigning them to whoever is available. I’ve built a photography brand centered on my work and the experience of having me there. If I’m not available for your date, I’ll tell you rather than quietly substituting another photographer and hoping you don’t notice.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I’ve spent more than a decade learning how to make great photographs in situations I can't control. I’ve developed the ability to create beautiful light, the intuition to anticipate moments before they happen, and the experience to make the most of whatever environment I'm given.

I've photographed everything from thundering rocket launches that disappear into the sky in seconds to quiet, fleeting moments between two people in a crowded room. The circumstances change; the standard doesn't.

I show up to every event like it's the most important thing I'll photograph this year—because for my clients, it usually is.
