The Art of Being Seen

Beauty. Character. Style.

Previously worked for:

Passionate Portraiture.

Portraiture is about more than how someone looks; it’s about how they carry themselves, what makes them distinctive, and what emerges when they become comfortable in front of the camera. I approach each person individually, paying close attention to light, expression, posture, and environment to create photographs that feel both vibrant and natural.

My goal isn’t to manufacture a version of someone for the camera, but to recognize what is already there and photograph it beautifully.

Comfort Comes First.

Most people aren't accustomed to being photographed, and I don't expect you to arrive knowing what to do. I give direction when you need it, make adjustments as we go, and create enough space for you to settle into the session. I also pay attention to posture, expression, hands, movement, and the small details that can change a photograph, while avoiding poses that feel unnatural or overly constructed.

The best photographs happen when you're truly comfortable.

Intentional Lighting.

I don't wait for perfect light to appear or spend too much time looking for it. Whether we're working outside, in your home, at a workplace, or somewhere chosen specifically for the photographs, I use the environment and bring additional lighting to create something deliberate rather than surrendering to whatever light happens to be there.

Retouched. Not Rebuilt.

I want the finished photographs to be flattering and polished, but still recognizable as the person who stood in front of my camera. Every finished portrait is professionally edited, but my goal isn't to turn you into someone else. I make careful adjustments to color, tone, skin, and distracting temporary imperfections while preserving the features that make you look like you.

Hi, I’m Taylor

Very few people arrive in front of a camera already knowing exactly what to do, and they shouldn’t have to.

My job is to understand what you’re looking for, create beautiful light, give you clear direction, and pay attention to the details that are difficult to see when you’re the person being photographed. I want the process to feel comfortable and collaborative rather than overly posed or self-conscious.

The goal is to make you look your best without making you look like someone else.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?
Through a private online gallery where you can view, download, favorite, and share your finished photographs. All delivered images are provided as high-resolution files and professionally edited by me.
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard turnaround is within 7 business days, and I frequently deliver sooner. If you're working with a particular deadline, let me know when you reach out.
I'm not always comfortable in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Most of the people I photograph aren't professional models and don't arrive knowing how to pose. Giving direction and helping you become comfortable in front of the camera is part of my job. You don't need to practice beforehand or figure out what to do with your hands—I’ll help with that.
How does pricing work?
Portrait pricing depends on the location, time required, complexity of the session, and what you're looking to create. Tell me what you have in mind when you reach out and I'll provide a straightforward quote based on the project.
