Event Photography Built for a City That Won’t Wait

People. Energy. Impact.

Ever Upward.

New York is a city built on ambition. Every day, people come together here to launch ideas, celebrate achievements, exchange perspectives, and move their organizations forward. The photographs from those moments should reflect the same level of intention that went into creating them.

I’ve spent a decade developing exactly those instincts, photographing everything from intimate gatherings to major events for organizations like NASA, the World Bank, and National Geographic. I know how to work quickly, adapt to whatever the room gives me, and recognize the moments that will matter after it’s over. Whatever the occasion, the standard only moves in one direction.

Level up your photography.

Built for the Moment

In NYC, an event doesn’t wait for the photographer to catch up. I read the room, learn the rhythm of speakers, watch crowds for reactions, and recognize when something is about to happen. The difference between missing a moment and making a great photograph is often being ready a second before it begins.
Beautiful venues in the city don’t always have beautiful light. I bring a complete lighting setup to every event and adapt it to the room, whether I’m working in a grand ballroom, a dark restaurant, or a windowless conference space. The venue doesn't set the ceiling on quality— the photographer does.
I rarely stay in one place for long. I’m constantly looking for a stronger angle, a better background, a different perspective, or something happening across the room. Your gallery should feel like the work of a photographer who was everywhere— not one who found a comfortable spot and stayed there.
I’ve worked as an associate photographer for other photography businesses, so I know the model: a client books with a company, and an available photographer is assigned to cover the event. It’s a common way to scale a photography business, but it isn’t how I’ve chosen to build mine. When you hire me, you get me. If I’m not available for your date, I’ll tell you rather than quietly send someone else in my place.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I’ve spent more than a decade building a career around being comfortable when things are unpredictable. That work has taken me from intimate gatherings to major institutional events, and from quiet moments between two people to rocket launches that disappear into the sky in seconds.

Along the way, I’ve developed the ability to create beautiful light, the intuition to anticipate moments before they happen, and the experience to make the most of whatever environment I’m given. I’m comfortable working quickly, solving problems as they arise, and finding the photographs that matter while everything around me keeps moving.

I show up to every event like it's the most important thing I'll photograph this year— because for my clients, it usually is.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?
Through a private, beautifully presented online gallery. You can download everything directly, create favorites lists, and easily share the gallery with your team, guests, and sponsors. If you’d like to see a sample gallery before booking, just ask— I’m happy to share one!
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the end of your event, but I frequently deliver much sooner— including same-day selects and expedited full galleries for many of my clients. If you have a specific deadline, I’m happy to work with it. I’d much rather underpromise and overdeliver than leave you waiting for your photographs.
Do you travel for events?
Yes! I am based in the Northeast but regularly travel thousands of miles for my clients.
How does pricing work?
I price each event based on the time, complexity, and specific requirements involved. When you reach out, share as much as you can about your event, including the date, location, duration, number of attendees, and what you’re hoping to capture. If you have a budget in mind, I encourage you to share that as well. I approach budgets honestly; knowing yours helps me find a structure that works for both of us, rather than simply determining how much to charge.

Many subjects. One perspective.

Different subjects call for different approaches, but the style, intentionality, and care behind them remain the same.
