Philadelphia Event PhotographeR

Event Photography for a City That Endures

Experience. Grit. Progress.

Familiar Territory.

I’ve spent the last three years photographing events throughout Philadelphia, and I live close enough that working in the city is a regular part of my calendar. I know the particular challenges that come with photographing here—from historic spaces and unconventional venues to large hotels, conference centers, and everything in between.

That local experience is backed by more than a decade behind the camera, including high-stakes work for organizations like NASA, the World Bank, and National Geographic. I bring both to every Philadelphia event: familiarity with the city and the experience to handle whatever the assignment puts in front of me.

Level up your photography.

Proven in Practice

Every event has its own rhythm. I pay attention to who matters, where the energy is moving, what people are reacting to, and what is about to happen next. The better I understand the room, the less I have to chase moments after they’ve already happened.
Great photographs shouldn’t depend on whether the venue happened to give me great light. I bring a complete lighting setup to every event and adapt it to the room, creating polished, dimensional photographs whether I’m working in an ornate ballroom or a windowless conference space.
I’ve worked as an associate photographer for other photography businesses, so I know the model: a client books with a company, and an available photographer is assigned to cover the event. It’s a common way to scale a photography business, but it isn’t how I’ve chosen to build mine. When you hire me, you get me. If I’m not available for your date, I’ll tell you rather than quietly send someone else in my place.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I’ve spent more than a decade photographing people and events in almost every kind of environment imaginable— from formal institutions and hotel ballrooms to concerts, government buildings, weddings, and rocket launches. Today I’m based just outside Philadelphia, with the city forming a regular part of my work.

That range has taught me how to walk into almost any environment, quickly understand what it demands, and make strong photographs without needing ideal conditions. I’ve developed the ability to create beautiful light, the intuition to anticipate moments before they happen, and the experience to make the most of whatever environment I’m given.

I show up to every event like it’s the most important thing I’ll photograph all year—because for my clients, it usually is.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?
Through a private, beautifully presented online gallery. You can download everything directly, create favorites lists, and easily share the gallery with your team, guests, and sponsors. If you’d like to see a sample gallery before booking, just ask— I’m happy to share one!
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the end of your event, but I frequently deliver much sooner— including same-day selects and expedited full galleries for many of my clients. If you have a specific deadline, I’m happy to work with it. I’d much rather underpromise and overdeliver than leave you waiting for your photographs.
Do you travel for events?
Yes! I am based in the Northeast but regularly travel thousands of miles for my clients.
How does pricing work?
I price each event based on the time, complexity, and specific requirements involved. When you reach out, share as much as you can about your event, including the date, location, duration, number of attendees, and what you’re hoping to capture. If you have a budget in mind, I encourage you to share that as well. I approach budgets honestly; knowing yours helps me find a structure that works for both of us, rather than simply determining how much to charge.

Many subjects. One perspective.

Different subjects call for different approaches, but the style, intentionality, and care behind them remain the same.
