I’ve spent more than a decade photographing events for organizations including NASA, National Geographic, and The World Bank, working in everything from intimate gatherings to major conferences and high-profile events. I bring that same experience to every assignment in Austin: thoughtful coverage, beautiful light, and photographs created with an understanding of how they'll ultimately be used.
Branding is part of the environment you worked hard to create, and I photograph it that way. I look for opportunities to incorporate signage, displays, architecture, and other visual elements naturally into the coverage, creating photographs that feel unmistakably connected to your organization without turning every frame into an advertisement.
Some of the most valuable photographs from an event aren't on the schedule. I look constantly for genuine interactions, expressions, and moments between attendees, creating candid photographs that feel natural while still being thoughtfully composed and beautifully lit.
A strong speaker photograph should convey more than who was at the microphone. I look for expression, gesture, audience interaction, and clean compositions while working carefully with the available environment and light to create photographs that make speakers look confident, engaged, and worth listening to.
