For a decade I have photographed the burials at Arlington National Cemetery for the families who honor their loved ones. I am a veteran myself (I served as a Navy Corpsman with 1st Marine Division) and having served is part of what makes this my most meaningful work. I always arrive early, am intimately familiar with the ceremonies themselves, and often stay behind for those who would like to take family portraits afterwards since this is sometimes the only time everyone will come together for years. I photograph these ceremonies with the same care and precision the service members deliver themselves with each burial.

I've spent a decade building the technical mastery to deliver beautiful lighting, precise timing, and the ability to make any location look like it was built for a photo shoot. I've shot NASA facilities built in the 1950s with brutal overhead lighting and have photographed everything from small intimate receptions to ground-shaking rocket launches. When a moment matters, I'm the one holding the camera.
