I’ve spent more than a decade photographing events for organizations including NASA, The World Bank, and National Geographic. That experience has taught me where to be before the moment happens, how to make difficult rooms look beautiful, and how to come away with a gallery that tells the whole story—not just what happened onstage.

An event is one of the few times your people, your audience, and your brand all exist in the same place. I look for ways to incorporate signage, environments, activations, and branded details naturally into the photographs so the finished gallery doesn't just show that an event happened—it shows whose event it was.
Some of the best photographs happen between everything on the schedule. I’m constantly watching for genuine expressions, conversations, reactions, and interactions that show what it actually felt like to be in the room. The goal isn't simply to document who attended, but to create photographs that make the event look as engaging as it felt.
A speaker photograph should convey more than who was standing at the microphone. I look for expression, gesture, audience interaction, and moments of emphasis while paying close attention to angles and light. The result is imagery that makes speakers look confident, engaged, and worth listening to.
When an event brings your people together, it can also be the ideal opportunity to update professional headshots. I can bring a complete lighting and backdrop setup directly to the venue and efficiently photograph individuals or large groups without sending everyone to a separate studio.
