Portraits Worth Keeping

Natural. Relaxed. Polished.

The Best Moments Aren't Posed.

Family photographs don’t need an elaborate production to matter. Whether we’re working at home, outdoors, or somewhere meaningful to your family in Delaware, I want the photographs to feel polished without losing the personalities and relationships that make them yours.

A good family portrait still needs composition, flattering light, and a little direction. It just doesn’t need everyone to feel like they’re holding a pose.

I create the photographs you expect to have—the ones where everyone looks good and is actually looking at the camera—but I’m just as interested in what happens around them: the laughs between photographs, the personalities that come out once everyone relaxes, and the interactions that make one family look different from every other family I photograph.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I’ve spent more than a decade photographing people, and one of the most useful lessons I’ve learned is that most people don’t need more posing—they need clearer direction and less time to overthink being photographed.

I keep sessions moving, pay close attention to expression and light, and adjust quickly when children, weather, locations, or plans don’t behave exactly as expected. The goal is to make the process easy while giving you photographs that look considered rather than overly constructed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?
Your finished photographs are delivered through a private online gallery where you can download the full-resolution files, create favorites lists, and easily share the gallery with family and friends.
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard turnaround time is 7 business days from the end of your session or event, though I frequently deliver sooner. If you need photographs by a particular date, let me know when you reach out and I'll do my best to accommodate it.
Do you photograph family events?
Yes! Birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, reunions, and other family celebrations are a significant part of what I photograph. For events, I combine the important group photographs with candid coverage of the people, details, and moments happening throughout the day.
Can we print the photographs ourselves?
Absolutely. Your photography includes the rights you need to download, share, and print the finished images without having to purchase individual files from me afterward.
What if our children don't cooperate?
They don't need to. I don't expect young children to stand still and smile on command for an entire session. I work quickly when I need to, give them space when that works better, and adjust the session around their energy rather than trying to force every photograph into a rigid plan.
