The Photographer for High-Stakes Events

No Room for Error. No Second Chances. No Problem.

The Event Ends. The Photos Tell the Story Forever.

If you're responsible for an event (the logistics, the look, and the way it reflects on your organization) then you already know how much is riding on the photos. They're what you send to leadership. What goes in the annual report. What lives on the website long after the event is over. I’ve photographed events for organizations that run on reputation: NASA, The World Bank, National Geographic— where the photos end up in front of boards, donors, and press.

If you want your event photographed with that level of precision and expertise, let’s talk.

Hi, I’m Taylor

I got into this work because I believe every person deserves to look extraordinary — not just the keynote speaker, not just the VIPs, everyone.

I've spent a decade building the technical mastery to deliver beautiful lighting, precise timing, and the ability to make any location look like it was built for a photo shoot. I've shot NASA facilities built in the 1950s with brutal overhead lighting and have photographed everything from small intimate receptions to ground-shaking rocket launches. When a moment matters, I'm the one holding the camera.

I show up to every event like it's the most important thing I'll shoot this year — because for my clients, it usually is.

How I Photograph an Event

Not just the keynote. Not just the executive team. I know how to photograph people of all skin tones, ages, and backgrounds in ways that are genuinely beautiful not just technically acceptable. I see so many photographers deliver images that are unflattering, and I know I would hate to see my own photos like that.
I'm a generous deliverer who refuses to hold back good images just to ease up my workload, they're fully polished and edited to my high standard of work, and delivered in a beautiful gallery that showcases the photos wonderfully-- not an ugly file-transfer link. Your team has real options to work with, not a handful of selects that leaves whole sections of your event undocumented.
Many photography businesses in this industry take bookings and send a different photographer to shoot. How do I know? I was often the one they'd hire. They pay them a fraction of what you paid and it ends up coming down to whoever is available. I don't do that; I've built a photography brand that is centered around my work and the experience of having me there. If I am not available for your date, I will say so rather than quietly swap in someone else and hoping you don't notice.
If I stay in one spot, you only get one perspective. I am constantly moving, wide to show scale, close to show expression, into the crowd for reaction shots, up into the rafters when I need to show a speaker commanding a full room. The goal is a gallery that tells the whole story of your event, not just what happened at the front of the room.
I read the room. I watch speakers for their rhythm, crowds for reactions, and people making connections with one another. That is what separates a photo that looks like it was taken at your event from one that actually feels like your event.
Most event photographers use an on-camera flash and hope for the best. I bring a professional lighting setup to every shoot and use whatever tools will give me the most beautiful lighting-- whether I am in a purpose built event space or a windowless hotel conference room, your photos will look polished and vibrant. The venue does not set the ceiling on quality, the photographer does.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are your photos delivered?
Through a private, beautifully presented online gallery. You can download everything directly, create favorites lists, and share the gallery link with your team, guests, and sponsors for easy access and collaboration. If you would like to see a sample gallery before booking, just ask-- I'm happy to share!
How soon will we receive the photos?
My standard delivery turnaround time is 7 business days from when the event ends. I frequently deliver same day selects or even full gallery deliveries more quickly, and am happy to work with whatever your needs may be on the immediacy of your deliverables; I consistently underpromise and overdeliver!
Do you travel for events?
Yes! I am based in the Northeast but regularly travel thousands of miles for my clients.
How does pricing work?
I charge based on time, complexity, and any additional requirements. When you reach out, share as much as you can about your event including date, location, duration, number of attendees, and what you are hoping to capture. The more transparent you are about your budget, the better I can find a structure that works for both of us. I do not maximize whatever a client tells me and I work with budgets honestly.

Many Subjects. One perspective.

My range extends well beyond events. Every category reflects the same decade of experience and technical mastery while staying true to my style of work.
